Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)

Dear Customers,

 

Pursuant to the requirements of Regulation (EU) No 600/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 (Art. 26 (6)) and of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/590 of 28 July 2016 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 600/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council (Art. 13 (3)), with effect from 03.01.2018, all legal entities executing transactions in financial instruments, admitted to trading on a regulated market or traded on a trading venue, along with the financial instruments stipulated in Art. 26 (2) of Regulation (EU) No 600/2014, irrespective of whether the transactions are executed on a trading venue or not, shall obtain an identification code of the legal entity, the so-called LEI code (Legal Entity Identifier).

 

International Asset Bank AD hereby informs you that effectively 03.01.2018 the bank shall not execute transactions on behalf of customers - legal entities, unless they have provided the required identification code.

 

The LEI issuing organizations may found on the following internet address: https://www.leiroc.org/list/leiroc_gls/tid_162/index.htm.The requests for assignment of LEI code can be submitted as well directly on the website of Central Depository AD (http://www.csd-bg.bg/).

 

The expenses related to obtaining and maintenance of the LEI code (or equivalent identification code) are to be borne by the customer.
